10 year validity passport application (for persons aged 16 and over)

Make an appointment to apply for, or renew an Australian passport (for persons aged 16 and over). This is a one (1) or five (5) page application* depending on your circumstances.

Please note: All applicants aged 16 and over must lodge their application in person. For those applicants aged 16 and 17, a legal guardian is also required to attend the appointment.

From 3 October 2022, adults eligible to use the one-page PC7 Australian Passport Renewal Application form will be able to apply by mail, otherwise

All applicants aged 16 and over and presenting a 5 page PC 8 application, must lodge their application in person. For those applicants aged 16 and 17, a legal guardian is also required to attend the appointment.

Optional for persons over 75 - 5 year validity passport application

Make an appointment to apply for, or renew an Australian adult passport (for persons aged 75 and over).

This optional 5-year validity passport is available to persons aged 75 and over. Applicants may also opt for a 10 year passport for $395.

This is a one (1) or five (5) page application*. If your most recent passport has expired by more than three years then the 5 page form is required. If your passport is still valid or has expired by less than three years then the 1 page form is required.

**From 3 October 2022, adults eligible to use the one-page PC7 Australian Passport Renewal Application form will be able to apply by mail**.

For applicants aged 15 years and under the child is not required to attend the appointment, but children aged 10 and over will be required to sign the application form.

Certifiying a copy of a document

You will need to bring the original document to the appointment as the certifying officer will produce a copy of this document during the appointment.

Witnessing a signature on certain Australian forms*

Please contact us by phone before booking this notarial service. Forms that we may witness include government forms, including Commonwealth and Australian State based declarations, licence identity kits and some Australian bank identity forms.

**Statutory declarations for South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia and all Affidavits, Oaths or Affirmations and Power of Attorney documents must be booked by phone**

Witnessing land transfer/mortgage documents

PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE BOOKING THIS APPOINTMENT, TO ENSURE AN AUTHORISED OFFICER WILL BE AVAILABLE.

The cost depends on amount of documents to be witnessed and certified.

Make an appointment for an official officer to witness you sign land transfer/sale, or mortgage documents.

**Please note - In order to book an appointment for the witnessing of Land Transfer documentation, please contact the Consulate directly on +1 416 323 4288.

Please note: This service is only provided for documents that are intended to be used in Australia. For notarial services for other documents, refer to other governments.

You must bring all required documentation, including the most recent land rates notice or certificate of title (if selling the property) and valid photo ID.

The officer will supply and complete the identity certificate.
